Historic settlement agreement may coincide with release of UPSTREAM BATTLE
For two years, Ben Kempas followed Native Americans in their fight for their fish - against an energy corporation that runs hydropower dams on the Klamath River. Post-production of UPSTREAM BATTLE is nearly completed. At the same time, a settlement agreement has been proposed that could trigger the largest dam removal project in history. "People have been calling this a David-and-Goliath struggle," Ben says. "They should remember who won that particular contest."
