School's out - forever. But what's next? Having passed their A-level exams, Laura Engelke and Anja Birkel are ready to conquer the world - as au-pair girls. Best friends go separate ways for the first time: Laura is on her way to a host family near Washington D.C., and Anja prefers rural Norway. We follow both girls on their adventures far away from home, from their families and friends.

Ben Kempas contributed two stories to a new ZDF docu series made by Preview Production. WAS FÜR EIN TAG features human stories evolving around a special event that disrupts everyday life.
Ben followed six-year-old Amadou on his first vacation without his family, and he portrayed a collector of VW busses finding a sought-after accessory.
